The Role:
To establish and lead a rigorous internal and external risk-based audit regime, with consistent capture, reporting and management of audit findings. To provide confidence to senior management and HS2 that the established processes are being implemented and that SCSJV are also meeting their legal obligations. Report statistics on Audits and audit finding to HS2, Skanska, Costain and Strabag, monthly. To add value to the Quality Management System and help with its implementation.

Aufgaben:

To lead and undertake the internal and external (e.g. suppliers and subcontractors) audits to ensure that the Work Information, set processes, plans and procedures, are effectively implemented to meet the contract requirements and to ensure compliance with legal and statutory requirements.
To capture, report and manage audit findings in collaboration with the Head of Compliance and Assurance, the Quality and Assurance Managers, as well as the Health and Safety and Environment & Sustainability Management teams.
Undertake the audits in accordance with the Audit Procedure and Audit Programme and record any observations and non-conformities using the standard Audit Report form.
Participate in the Route Cause Analysis Workshop with the internal and external personnel.
To liaise as necessary with other organisations, relevant authorities, assist and cooperate with audits and remedial actions.
To provide information for team’s awareness of new and proposed legislation that impacts the business in what concerns Quality.

Promoting the pursuit of excellence and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System and the QA team, including audits, improvement plans, modification of standard processes and procedures to ensure the QMS is effective and continuously improved.

Voraussetzungen:

Degree in a relevant engineering technical discipline and / or quality management
Membership of Chartered Quality Institute, or actively working towards membership is preferable
Recent Lead Auditor training and practice is essential
IRCA lead auditor status is preferable
Knowledge and experience of quality management systems and their application in activities relevant sectors for the project
Management of Internal and external certification for ISO 9001:2015
Awareness of other standards such as ISO 14001:2015, OHSAS 18001:2007, ISO 27001:2013, ISO 44001:2017, ISO 27001:2013
Relevant CSCS qualification
